Lancashire is rightly proud to boast some of the best produce and most favored dishes from all of the UK – And we are Lancastrians through and through! We ensure that all our food is in season and locally sourced, fully supporting the ‘gate to fork’ philosophy of knowing where our food comes from. We can trace much of our food back to the farm it was reared or grown!
All dishes are freshly prepared with an eye to detail and we regularly welcome some of the region’s top chefs to lead special services; including BBC’s Great British Menu chef Nigel Howarth, who opened our new restaurant in 2009 and BBC Asian Fusion Chef Aazam Ahmad.
Not only that, but our catering students are closely supervised by some fantastic tutors who have a wealth of experience in the industry. From working onboard the QE2 and at high profile events such as Silverstone and Royal Ascot, developing menus and recipes for Marks and Spencer’s, to working at Raymond Blanc’s 2 Michelin Starred Le Manoir Aux Quat Saisions and some of the country’s top Hotels including the Chester Grosvenor; you can be sure of a fantastic experience in Farringtons.
